Tell us three of your career highlights to date.
1. Witnessing the roll out of our Real Apprentice scheme across Tower Hamlets, Hackney & Newham. The scheme now helps hundreds into work a year!
2. Building a successful and passionate team.
3. Watching our Chief Executive do the ‘Migraine Skank’ (a very ‘urban’ dance routine) at our recent team away day.

Name your favourite place of interest in East London.
My desk here at ELBA’s offices, I have a fantastic view of our roof terrace and the Canary Wharf skyline.

In one sentence explain why you are passionate about East London?
It’s so diverse in terms of its opportunities and challenges. It has all the right ingredients for successful area regeneration, and it feels great to be part of it.

Tell us one thing that people may not know about you.
I am the Chair of a small but brilliant community group in South London called Firm Foundations; that improves the quality of life for disadvantaged youths.

Tell us the best thing about working for East London Business Alliance.
Our position. We sit right in between the private sector and the community/regeneration sector. We get the best of both worlds!
