SKILLS PROJECT MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER)
Purpose of the job
This maternity cover role will be responsible for management of ELBA’s flagship Rep London project, an employability and volunteering project for young people in Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. The project has been working to create a genuine legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by skilling up young people who will flourish in education and employment through the development of key skills, raised aspirations and increased community and business awareness by attending a series of training modules hosted by our member companies. Rep London provides local schoolchildren with a competitive edge for the future in the area of employment. During the Olympic and Paralympic Games 200 young people who have taken part in Rep London will be Team London Ambassadors and 20 young people will be Young Games Makers at the Beach Volleyball.

Purpose of the job
To facilitate entry level recruitment from the local area for ELBA member companies to maximise commercial and social benefit.
Job Description
• Based from within the offices of an ELBA member company/ELBA office (2 days) and local employment providers (3 days)
• Learn company policies and work closely with relevant departments
• Market employment initiatives in conjunction with relevant departments
• Act as an interface between ELBA, member companies, employment providers and funders
