Where the Buzz Stops

ELBA is looking for volunteers to help populate the travel app, East London Buzzstops, supported by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.This is an iPhone and Blackberry app that allows people to explore all that is on offer in east London in the run up to the Games. In the next few months it will be available on Android and iPad too.

If you party, eat, drink, play or shop, in any of the areas surrounding the Olympic Park, then you’ll find this volunteering opportunity fun.

Buzzstops is a free guide to the cool and quirky, the weird and wonderful things to do, see, taste and experience in the East End. As visitors flock to the area for the Games, we hope that this will be a must-have app to what’s hot and what’s not. Best of all there are no roaming charges!

Most importantly ELBA and the app’s sponsors, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, are driving visitors to the area which means that local businesses and sole traders get something tangible from the Games. Tourists get to see why the Games came to this part of London – a win-win situation for all.
