Legacy Champion

CREATE is a large-scale, multi-artform festival reflecting the diversity and international reach of the five boroughs hosting the 2012 Olympic Games. We are pleased that this year’s winner is Emma Baudey from Bank of America.  Emma is one of those rare breeds who manages to suspend their disbelief, to throw caution to the wind and to back projects which most would find frivolous or obscure.

Emma was tireless in working with CREATE to deliver the remarkable Dominoes project of thousands of breeze blocks in a moving sculpture in the host boroughs, and “Rooted in the Earth” which celebrated unsung heroes whose names were planted as large scale, ornamental flower beds. Both these projects secured TV and national press coverage justifying the bank’s investment.
